Bike maintenance in the Quantocks
Remember all those annoying little things on your bike that you keep meaning to get fixed? Clicking gears, squealing brakes, cables dying for some lube? Maintaining a bike is fun and when you know how!
Learn the basics of maintenance, for both road and mountain bikes, with a professional bike mechanic.
You start by removing and replacing wheels and tyres and mending punctures, and go on to cover the whole bike.
The course is a combination of demonstrations and practical work to help you learn how to look after your bike correctly. You split into small teams with two or three people working on each bike or you can choose to work on your own.
The maintenance weekends are based at the Quantocks youth hostel.
